World Food Forum
At the WFF event in Rome, Lead for Earth showcased its commitment to climate action through agrifood systems transformation, emphasizing sustainable agriculture and intergenerational collaboration for a resilient, hunger-free future.
Participating in the World Food Forum (WFF) flagship event at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) headquarters in Rome, Italy, from 16–20 October 2023, Lead for Earth’s CEO represented our organization’s commitment to agrifood systems transformation as a catalyst for climate action. This dynamic global platform brought together world experts, fervent activists, and visionary leaders of all generations under the theme: “Agrifood Systems Transformation Accelerates Climate Action.” At Lead for Earth, we are dedicated to combating climate change through innovative agricultural practices.
Our approach focuses on sequestering atmospheric carbon into the soil, enhancing soil health, and unlocking the full organic potential of the land. This strategy not only addresses climate change but also promotes sustainable agriculture. During the forum, we leveraged the power of intergenerational collaboration, tapping into diverse fields such as policy, science, innovation, education, culture, and investment. Our engagement was driven by the goal of creating new pathways for impactful and accelerated action at local, regional, and global levels. We aim to contribute to building a sustainable, resilient, inclusive, and hunger-free food future for everyone. Our participation in the WFF was a significant step towards realizing these aspirations, reinforcing our commitment to meaningful change and progress in the agrifood sector for the betterment of the planet and its inhabitants.
